Michael J. FitzGerald Michael J. FitzGerald is one of the founding partners of Barnes, Crosby, FitzGerald & Zeman. Mr. FitzGerald focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation in the state and federal courts. He has successfully represented numerous clients and tried dozens of jury trials encompassing a broad range of issues in all manner of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership and corporate disputes, unfair competition, fraud, real estate litigation, business torts, estate litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and collections.
Mr. FitzGerald was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1976, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association (Litigation Section), the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and the American Inns of Court. He has also served as a past president of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, and a moot court judge for the University of San Francisco Law School.
Mr. FitzGerald received his B.A. from California State University (1973) and earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco (1976).
